Schedule of Habitat Restoration Outings

Schedule Overview

Habitat Restoration outings occur as follows:

Wednesday evenings during daylight savings time (mid March to early November), starting at 5:30 pm

Friday mornings throughout the year, starting at 9 am

Saturday mornings on 3rd Saturday of the month from March-July, starting at 9 am, plus other occasional Saturdays

Weeders should meet at the designated meeting place at the appointed time, after which the group will proceed to the work site for that outing. Late comers are welcome, and should simply proceed to the designated work site on their own (when possible, a map to the work site will be posted at the meeting place).

Outings are held on a "weather permitting" basis. Generally, if the weather is no worse than light/intermittent sprinkles, we'll proceed as scheduled. In the event of heavy or steady rain, we'll cancel.

Wednesday evening outings are held each Wednesday evening during daylight savings time
Outings begin at 5:30 pm, duration varies depending on time of year
Exact work sites are determined on a weekly basis, so plan to meet us at the meeting point (see below), or contact us the week before a given session
A map to the worksite will be posted at the meeting location to accomodate late arrivers

Details for Friday morning outings

Friday morning outings begin at 9 am and last to around noon. There is no set schedule for the Friday morning outings. Work location is chosen weekly depending on seasonal conditions. For meeting point information on a given date, contact us, or join our EWW email contact list and you'll receive a weekly reminder about the meeting point and work location for the next Friday outing.

Details for Saturday morning outings

Saturday outings are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month from Spring through early Summer
Other occasional Saturday outings may be planned throughout the year
Outings begin at 9 am and last to around noon
